ERGA '15

EVENT REGISTRATION STARTED.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING, COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING PATHANAPURAM PROUDLY PRESENTS OUR FIRST TECHNICAL FESTIVAL ERGA' 15. ERGA '15 WILL BE ON MARCH 26, 2015 AT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING PATHANAPURAM. BEING OUR FIRST TECHNO FIESTA, WE ALL ARE VERY EXCITED TO CONDUCT SUCH A FEST & PROUD TO BE A PART OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COLLGE.



              ERGA '15 IS CONDUCTED BY ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING STUDENTS AEEESTHE ASSOCIATION OF INNOVATING & INSPIRING ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS OF OUR COLLEGE.


RULES & REGULATIONS.


 PAPER PRESENTATION

·         Maximum No: of teams per College per branch allowed will be. two
·         No of participants per team is  two
  • Topic of the paper can be related to any branch.
·         Only Power Point presentation will be allowed.
  • Time limit is 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for queries by the judges & audience.
  • Display of College Name is prohibited for transparency,  serial number will be allotted to participants  & same will be given to judges.
  • Decision of the judges will be final.
 
SCORING RULES

  • Marks will be awarded on following basis :
o   Matter of Paper                 (5)
o   Presentation of Paper        (3) 
o   Response to Queries etc.  (2)    
o   Total   :   10 Marks.
WIRE-O-MANIA
·        Maximum No: of teams per College per branch per semester allowed will be two
·        A team of maximum two members can participate.
·        Design the circuit for a given layout and condition.
  • Determine the size of wires required.
  • Calculate the length of the wire and conduit required. .
  • Participants will have to do a wiring of a given model room.
  • Every equipment necessary will be provided to each team.
  • Each team will be given 1 hour
  • The top team will be decided by judges.
·        No extra time will be given to any of the participants under any circumstances.





CIRCUIT DEBUGGING
·         The participants are not allowed to bring any components as well as programmable calculators. The necessary components and materials for the event  will be supplied by the organizers.
·         The maximum number of participants in a team will be two.
·         The participants should produce valid ID cards of their respective colleges.    
·         Participants bear the whole responsibility of the components and equipment issued to them.
SCORING RULES:
·         The first position will be secured by the team who clears all the bugs in the circuit within the least time.
·         If no team clears all the errors within the allotted time, the first position will be given to those team who clears atleast 3 levels in minimum time.
·         The participants must report every half an hour, to the concerned person about the bugs cleared.
·         5 points will be awarded, if the cleared bug is correct and 3 points will be deducted, if it is wrong.
·         The total points secured by each team will be calculated at the end of session and prizes will be awarded accordingly.
·         Total allotted time : 2 hrs.
·         Rights of organizers committee:
·         The organizer has the right to amend any of the above said rules for the fair play.
·         Organizer’s decision will be final and no further arguments are entertained.

·         Maximum number of participants in a team will be two.
·         The participants are not allowed to bring any components. The necessary components and materials for the event will be supplied by the organizers.
·         The participants should produce valid ID cards of their respective colleges.

·         If no team clears all the levels within the allotted time, the first position will be given to those team clears maximum levels in minimum time. Atleast two levels has to be cleared.
·         Total allotted time is 1 hour.

TECH-QUIZ
·         Maximum number of participants allowed in a team is two.
·         Only one team is allowed from a class.
·         Students from any branch can participate .
·         A preliminary round will be held to select the top five teams .

REGISTRATION FOR IN-CAMPUS STUDENTS  ENDS AT 1 PM, 25th MARCH 2015.
